My first 48 hours on Steemit

Ok I have not made a whole lot of cash but my experience has been quite positive. This is my first real experience of something practical on a blockchain and I kind of like the concept behind this. It appears to me that Steemit is pretty much self regulated and promotes positive interaction through the up voting and flagging system that appears to be available. However I am still learning and I am not real sure how this all works.

Anyway so far interaction is informative and well received. I do like the motivation aspect where comments should be helpful and not always egotistical and arrogant like so many forums and social media sites. For some reason when people get on forum they feel the need to attack others for the sake of doing so as they are semi anonymous and unaccountable for their comments. Anyway so far that experience has not been felt on this site. There are some comments that there is a general fear that people wont be open and honest and avoid constructive debate so I hope that wont happen moving forward. Anyway I will keep posting and enjoy reading the thoughts of others.
