Noche de suave tormenta

I want to share with you these photographs taken from my house a few days ago.
I, who am a lover of heaven, cannot help but be amazed at the possibility of seeing it, at times, blue in the dark night.
Amigos:
Quiero compartir con ustedes estas fotografías tomadas desde mi casa hace pocos días.
Yo que soy amante del cielo, no puedo dejar de asombrarme ante la posibilidad de verlo, por momentos, azul en la noche oscura.
Una noche, como son las noches, apacibles después del trabajo del día, salgo a la calle solitaria, a mirar las ventanas de los conocidos.
En los frentes cerrados, detrás del ladrido de los perros y de las poses permanentes de los gatos, veo aparecer una silueta caminando hacia un familiar amado. Lleva un plato en la mano, como en una ofrenda, una reafirmación del amor cotidiano.
One night, as are the nights, peaceful after the day's work, I go out to the lonely street, to look at the windows of the acquaintances.
On the closed fronts, behind the barking of the dogs and the permanent poses of the cats, I see a silhouette appear walking towards the beloved family member. He carries a plate in his hand, as in an offering, a reaffirmation of everyday love.
Un olor a humedad cubre mi calle.
Arriba oscuridad, algo traman las nubes.
Abajo, un fuego alarga la ilusión del día.
A musty smell covers my street.
Above darkness, something is hatching the clouds.

Apareció el relámpago. Flashes en el cielo.
Los caminantes se apresuran, casi corren, ¿imaginan desastres?

Las nubes se organizan en dos bandos.
Declarada la guerra,
sucederá un esplendor simbólico
del poder de las fuerzas.
Treinta minutos dura la contienda.

¿Fue esto una tormenta?
Si lo fue, una tormenta suave,
un destellar de luces celestiales,
un aspaviento sonoro
en esta parte del planeta.
Cerraremos con lluvia la jornada.

he dispuesto mi hamaca.
Was this a storm?
If it was, a mild storm,
a flash of heavenly lights,
a sound fuss
in this part of the planet.
We will close the day with rain.
