How to be a wise woman

Physical beauty is not the only capital of a woman. Beautiful outwardly does not mean anything if not balance with inner beauty. One of the inner beauty of a woman how she can be a wise woman. This time. I want to share how a wise woman in the Bible. We can read in 1 Samuel 25:2-42. The woman is Abigail. The Bible mention that Abigail is a wise woman as well as beautiful. She has a husband named Nabal. Nabal is a rich man, has 3000 sheeps and 1000 goats, but his behaviour is foolish as he name evil and rude his conduct. A time David sent his men to ask for foods to Nabal, because at that time Nabal was cutting sheep's fleece in Karmel. He was holding a great party for the searers. But what happens, Nabal instead of giving foods as requested by the followers David, on the contrary Nabal as if ignoring David, even Nabal threat David as meaningless, like a rebel whose demand does not need to be ignored. When all this David already do good to Nabal, do not disturb or take the sheep. This Nabal act, eventually angering David, so he wanted to destroy Nabal. David mobilizes his followers 400 people to face Nabal. In this situation the Abigail acts wisely and impressively.

There are some characters or wisdom that we need to learn from Abigail.

1. Abigail can act at the right time in the right way
   Abigail is quick to act when faced with the critical situation, when she find out ,anger David will have an adverse effect to her husband. So, she quickly told her maid to leave first, then she prepared everything she would gives to David.
   As women, we need to learn form Abigail for us to act wisely when needed, make the right decision without any hesitation.
2. Abigail is brave woman
   Abigail dare to face David and his troops. Without fear she faces David. Without fear of risks that will occur.
   A woman's courage is necessary to defend her family's interest. Although in this case the Abigail is not for the sake of Nabal, but our Abigail courage needs to be an example in the face of any situation.
3. Abigail who believes in God
   When Abigail faced David, she reminds David to not to sin by killing Nabal. This she did because her knowledge and her belief in God.
   To be wise woman, we must have to know God. Live in faith and hope in Him. His words will guide us in our every action and deed.

   Beauty is not the only thing that can be seen from a woman, but wisdom is a reflection of inteligent behavior. Many beautiful woman, but if not wise, it is not worth anything.
   A wise woman is a woman who builds her life according to the truth of God's word, so that she can act appropriately at the right time.
