Short Story: Pleasing Everybody
Hi Lovely Parents & Kids!
I'm glad to be here today, I trust you're fine! It's been a while, but today I come with an interesting story, I know you will like it. It's an old time story I learnt during my nursery school years, so my kids asked me yesterday to read them stories and while searching for story books I tumble on one, and they found one of the stories I read them to be fascinating, it is full of numerous lessons of which I will highlight some at the end, and you will also tell me some. The title of the story is "PLEASING EVERYBODY.
the man and the boy on their way to the market
Once upon a time a man and his son were traveling to town. They intend to sell their donkey at the market. They were walking and drove the donkey in their front.
The young man talking to the man
On their way they met a young man who spoke to them, he called them foolish because the donkey is strong enough and will carry the boy!
A young woman talking to the man
Immediately after, they met a young lady, who called the boy lazy and blamed him for not letting the tired father to ride the donkey!
The boy running after the donkey and his father.
Sometime later, they saw an old Man and he spoke to the Boy's father, he called him selfish Man, because there's room on the donkey for both of them to ride!
The man and the boy riding on the donkey.
Next they met an old woman who scolded them for being cruel, that both of them should be carrying the poor donkey!
The Father & the son carrying the donkey.
The donkey was so heavy to carry. Everyone was laughing at them and called them stupid, because the donkey can walk.
My kids really like the story, and the lesson is that it is impossible to please everyone, and it will be stupid on our part if we try to, because people view things differently. We shouldn't fellow everyone, rather we should always do what we know it's right 👍. What do you learn from the story?
I took all the pictures from the old book and can't not be found on net
You are right, it is not even possible to please everyone. We must have to try to do the right thing at any point in time. Thank you for the story
Absolutely! I'm glad you like the story, and I appreciate your valuable contribution. Thank you too!
MODs Comment:
Thanks for sharing this story. One thing in life is that you can't please everyone no matter how hard you try. You may end up displeasing or leaving your comfort just to please another. Your story has lots of lessons that affects each and everyone of us
You're right, if we try to please everyone we will end up becoming a laughing stock. We should be person of our own and have a say. I appreciate your kind review!
¡Congratulations!
