Hello my fellow kids and the amazing people of these community, I am so excited to be among you. This is my first post in this @steemkidss community. It is a thing of joy to me. I will be sharing my journey on steemit, my challenges, how it all started till this moment.

My Steemit Journey

My journey on steemit started July ending, I cannot remember the date exactly. This was the period we were on holidays from school. My aunty @ninapenda, will come to the house with a book and a pen, asking me to come solve some equations, as a kid, I will gladly do it and if I get confused along the line, she will assist me.

This homework has be going on for weeks before I decided to ask her one faithful day of she was now a teacher? But she said no, that was when I asked her what this whole assignments were.all about, then she said the assignment is from a platform called "Steemit". She said the assignment is always given to kids in that community. She explained everything about the community that day but I did not understand a thing, but my mom did.

One faithful evening, she came to the house saying that she needs to create an account for me on steemit so that I can now be writing by myself, she will only show me the basics. But my mom said she was not.ready to share her phone with me. @ninapenda pleaded on my behalf so that my mom can at least allow me use it two times a week. Finally, she was able to convince my mom. I never knew I have started my steemit journey.

I officially started my steemit journey on this platform on 7 September 2021. I was signed up that faithful day and was asked to write an introduction post by myself. I was enjoying the writing but I am not so fast in typing but I try my best.

Things I have learnt on steemit

I have just joined steemit and I have not learnt a lot. I have been taught basic things like; logging in to my account, how to start typing, how to follow people, and I have learnt them. I am a fast learner and hopefully, there are still more for me to learn and am going to learn them and start practicing them.

My Challenges on Steemit

Well, so far no much challenges. I was finding it difficult to join a curation trail. I followed the steps that I saw there but it was not working. I know I will still have other challenges as time goes by because I know there are still a lot for me to learn.

My Advice for Steemkids Community

I know this community is basically for kids like me, I am yet to know what they do and what they don't. I wish to advice steemkids community to continue with the weekly homework they give to us. I also advice them to help motivate us the kids to learn more here and also practice what we have learnt, because I believe that they have just started and there is more for us.

How Can Steem Community Help Me

I want steem community to help me learn a lot to better my life in future. I want them to assist me financially also, that when I am done with my high school, I can be able to start up my college with ease. I want them to always give out prizes to all kids every year end at least to make is happy also.
