Awesome random encounter in NYC
I appreciate art... not all of it... i hate most modern art and i guess i am not in touch enough to understand why something that looks like someone's toddler got a hold of a jar of ketchup can be worth millions of dollars. However, that is another story.
I was walking back from picking up my new passport (which was an awesome, effortless experience despite the fact that all of these poor people are working on the day after Thanksgiving) when i turned a corner and encountered a massive work of art that was just incredible.
I mean look at that... That is art. That is just incredible... and it is friggin huge! It covered that entire majestically huge wall of the elementary school and I took another shot a bit closer up if someone needs that.
A friend of mine that lives in Brooklyn once told me that schools and similar businesses will hire street artists (and pay them) to make giant works of art on buildings. The beauty of the work and the fact that the artists in question have "street cred" ensures that the building will be safe from graffiti in the future. I don't know if that is true or not but it seems like a good idea either way.
It looks amazing and I am glad I stumbled upon it. I also randomly encountered what might be the firehouse from Ghostbusters.

At the time in the city of Caracas was creating what is called urban art, however for the cost of equipment and the situation that crosses the country has been lost these spaces, which in the end benefits many young people who believe in urban art that is very good, I love this post, a jewel in the crown, greetings and my respects. Architecture is a mixture of art and technology, moreover that wall art is breathtaking, there are many such arts in my city too, these kind of artist should get promoted and should stand in limelight as they can enhance the aesthetic value.

This really is art. The person who did it has an extraordinary talent, I admire this type of artists because they leave their mark exposed for everyone. This is the fascinating thing about urban art, you don't have to go to a gallery to enjoy magnificent works of art up close. They are there to simply dress to delight the spirit.
