Is 24 Karat Gold Too Soft For Jewelry?

When Mene Investment Jewelry first started I would hear all the time how 24 karat gold was “too soft” for jewelry. Over and over people “educate” me that pure gold could never work for jewelry and I even had someone tell me that it would just instantly crumble upon wearing.

Ignoring the fact that a couple billion people in the East own 22-24 karat gold jewelry and wear it every day, we now have empirical evidence on the blockchain that this is not true.

Also noteworthy is that in all the reviews I’ve read about Mene 24k, I have never seen a single complaint that the gold was “too soft.”

It should go without saying that like anything in the physical world, with use over time any piece of jewelry may experience some wear and tear and that includes Mene.

However the important thing to understand is that the WEIGHT of your Mene piece does not change, and you can always sell it back to Mene to melt it down for something new :)

I like to think of Mene like a favorite pair of blue jeans that contours to your body over time and takes on a bit of your personality.

My blue jeans aren’t too soft, and neither is my Mene 24k :)
