COIN SHOP VISIT - SILVER ROUNDS - COPIES OF U.S. COINS !!!
Yesterday's visit to the coin shop was a treasure find. I found copies of U.S. Coinage.
I found a number of Silver Rounds that are copies of U.S. Coins.
The rare finds were Silver Round copies of an Indian Head penny, a Lincoln penny and a Mercury Dime.
I have previously found copies of Morgan Dollars, Peace Dollars and even the Trade Dollar, which I grabbed one of each.
I got some decent Silver Rounds, with interesting characteristics and related to U.S. numismatic coins.
Cost: $2 over Spot (as usual)

Are these US silver replicas really collectible?
I don't think they are collectible, as in having any numismatic value. They are just interesting to me because I collect coins. Since I have actual Indian Head pennies and Lincoln Wheat cents, it is interesting to me to have this silver coin that looks just like them, giant compared to them, and with the full detail. The detail on my actual real pennies are usually well worn, so it is just nice to have as a comparison and an amusement.
Completely agree. I love collecting old coins. It's a piece of history and agree it would be awesome to see full detailed enlarged silver versions next to the original. Just trying to expand my precious metal knowledge so thanks for the information.

I like that they look just like the actual coins. It's a great way to introduce other people to Silver coins.

These 'penny' silver rounds are hard to find. The Lincoln penny looks like a giant 1943 Steel Wheat Cent.
The Indian Head penny, in silver color, just looks unusual and strange.
Wouldnt mind getting my hands on some of those.. nice haul
