A beautiful SUMMER walk through the Japanese Garden in Seattle, WA - PART ONE

Peace and Serenity

It's a small-ish garden 3.5 acres and it's one of my favorite places to visit on a spring or summer day here in Seattle. They seem to be able to pack in a lot of lovely features without making it feel in any way cramped. I wish this garden was MINE :D

Ironically, whenever I've been, it doesn't seem to get too packed with people. I think probably due to the limited parking.

One of my absolute favorite features, which is also the most prominent, is the Koi pond as the center piece.

The structures

A Japanese garden wouldn't be complete without a Pagoda here and there. I noticed people like to leave coins inside this one.
