This is Why we Buy Silver
Not long ago this is what a Canadian $1 coin looked like..
It's 0.6 of an oz silver. Today it's worth $10.82 just in silver content.
This is a Canadian dollar coin now
The new dollar is composed of copper and nickel. It carries the same dollar value but it's worth 0.06 cents ..and losing value every year
Here's another visual demonstration of what I'm getting at here..
Silver protects against inflation and has real worth.
Not only does the metal have a thousand practical uses, many see it as heavily undervalued today with the opportunity of increasing dramatically over time.
I'm one of them
Thanks for looking guys and keep stacking!
Great post @goldenarms Got to teach each other how worthless the fiat is.
Seigniorage and Specie. Canada did away with .01 coins and make cheap coins for the peeps.
Canada also mined out all of the nickel from the coinage and mint steel junk now.
Coinflation.com check your pocket change values.
Hey are u a fellow Canuck too?
No, from Northeast US. But in my defense I love hockey, maple syrup (try in coffee), and have made some friends trading coins over the years. And I can slam a Molson with the best of yas! Or maybe a Moosehead.
Hahaha yeah idk bout that eh? Lol
Great post, and my favorite thing to stack, old dollars!
I was rooting around in the treasure wing of my mansion lol, looking for Canadian content and came across about 30 of 'em -- i felt like i was looting myself!
Yeah they sound so good together! Thx for popping by. I actually uploaded this a few days ago but felt it was a good post so I added the #teamcanada so it appears on the board. Cheers
I just started stacking today. Bought 30 OZ and will make a post about it. Will follow.
Good post, informative for those who just don't seem to understand why we stack silver.
I think alot of ppl just aren't used to seeing it or familiar with where to get it too. U dont see sellers in the mall or at Starbucks haha It's easily aquirable if u want it and easily resold aswell. Not even mentioning how nice is is to see and hold. Real money baby! Thx @anothervoice for stopping by and leaving a lil comment. Have the best day!
You are welcome @goldenarms, I think people make a lot of excuses for not educating themselves and taking action it's got to be fear of reality or laziness.
First(again) You're on fire today. The moment the government removed precious metals from circulation was the moment everyone should have realised they had plans for us all. You give us the most valuable commodity on the planet, YOUR TIME and we will give you this useless paper currency worth nothing in return.
Yes but unlike @britcoins posts there's no prize for being first haha. But I do very much appreciate ya stopping by!
I'm just so happy to be first at something. It's the little wins that get us through the day ;-)
Hell yeah! Hey u think this post's deserves a resteem tho? 😋
My bad. Since you asked so nicely
Resteemed your article. This article was resteemed because you are part of the New Steemians project. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gaman/new-steemians-project-launch
Yeah they can just make and endless amount and they call it currency.. thats why i try and convert all my spare fiat into metals. stack on.
100% and how much nicer is it to see and hold?
Sure is...
wouldnt be surprised if they started making coins out of plastic soon!
Haha that's next! Our bills are already plastic 😁
Nicely done. There can be no argument that can be made against that logic!
No I feel the visuals hammer home my point pretty well. Thx for looking @sirstacksalot
Very true indeed, its very similar situation in the US. After 1964 we went from 90% to 0% (which I'm sure you probably already know) with the exception of half dollars which went to 40% until 1970. Good content, upvoted and followed!
Thank you very much. Appreciate you doing all that!
