My First American Gold Proof Coin 👍😎
Inside this case is my latest gold acquisition
This is a 1990 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle.
The US Mint did a great job with the packaging as you can see..
This was the other half of the order I placed with Raymond "Big Dog" Brockman. We've figured out a way to get around the taxes I sometimes pay in Canada for ordering stateside. Don't tell the government 😁

The proof gold color is fantastic! This is a tiny piece, a bit over 3 grams but I'm very glad to now have a proof to match my regular American Gold Eagle. This was a "random year" purchase and I'm happy to get a 1990 as it has the Roman Numerals stating the year whereas the newer coins have regular numbers

Do you know the 1/10oz gold $5 coins that RCM mints? As they are 99.99% pure, there is no tax over them.
Yeah we aren't supposed to pay tax on anything .999 fine gold and silver but I still sometimes get dinged on things and different carriers have held my pkgs hostage until I paid up. Ive called customs and you can fill out a claim form and wait but its still a hassel. Kinda lame but I'm working around it still
