3 Coins on my Wishlist
I've lusted after these 3 coins for awhile. One day I'll get them but it'll take alot of patience and hard work. It's gonna feel so amazing once I finally have them in my grubby hands!
First is the American St.Gaudens Double Eagle. Classic Americana here guys..
Then we have the big whopper Mexican 50 peso gold coin. The coin is 35.7 grams of awesomeness
Last up is the 50 Sole Peru gold coin. I'm just a big fan of this design. Sometimes I can't explain why I even like things I just do..
None of these coins are particularly rare but they're 3 coins that are high on my wishlist. My wishlist is pretty long :)
The problem with this hobby is once you have a piece you've wanted for awhile and finally acquire it, you're on to the next piece. The hunt is almost as good as the acquisition but there could be worse things to collect. This stuff has real worth, it's fun to look at and they're all a part of history.

For sure. I was happy to get an American quarter eagle a couple months ago. Love the Indian Head design. Harder to find these here in Canada
I also really want the 50 peso coin. We travelled peru for 11 days a couple years ago, I was on the coin hunt at several markets, only managed to pick up a single silver coin, i think it is 50% if im not mistaken. But we managed to buy gold and silver jewelry by the gram. I figured it out to be about spot + 15%. If you get the chance go there and look for your coin! Even if you don't find if, you can still have an amazing holiday and you can check out the Cusco silver merchants.
St. gaudins is beautiful I had my Grail coin which was a 1908 no motto st.g but I was forced to sell it years ago 😢 now I wish I could afford one

Yeah solid choice! I'm always worried the really old pieces are fakes and I don't know enough to tell if they're genuine? I have some silver Byzantine pieces and old Roman coins that were gifted to me. I couldn't tell if they were authentic cept for I trust where I got them
yeah i agree if i was buying anything super collectible and expensive i would get it checked by an expert first or buy one graded
