Depression had affected my relationship with my partner, my family, and almost everyone around me; but above all, my relationship with myself was damaged.
I lived only moments when I wasn't crushed under my negative thoughts. Looking forward to the end of the day; putting my head on the pillow was like pressing my brain's closing button. The next day when I woke up, the first thing I felt was fear. What horror would be echoed in my mind today? How much would I cry? Sometimes, over the hours, tears of tiredness, frustration and pure sadness tears down my eyes.
