There is no future in the past, so my dear person stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you can be. The past is always going to be the way it was, stop trying to change it. Rosy thoughts about the future can't exist when your mind is full of the blues about the past.

The more you look back, the less you will get ahead. Thomas Jefferson was right when he said I like the dream of the future better than the history of the past.

Your past cannot be changed, but you can change your tomorrow by your actions today.

Never let yesterday use up too much of today. The book of proverbs say, The wise man looks ahead, the fool attempts to fool himself and won't face the facts.

living in a past is a dull and lonely business, looking back strains the neck muscles, causing you to bump into people not going your way.

so therefore, if you want to enjoy live, avoid lengthy thinking on the past. Nothing is as far away as one hour ago.
