HitBTC scamming

I use their service to convert altcoins to steem but every time the price of SBD goes over equilibrium they say they cant deposit steem due to maintenance.

I wonder why? could they be using all the accounts funds to hedge steem against bitcoin?

I guess I will have to wait until it is back to 1 dollar to get the steem I have waiting...
