Fate and the ridiculous death with famous people

in #philosophy7 years ago (edited)

Many famous people go out of this world in an unusual way. The causes of death seem more than fantastic and even illogical. But the facts are fact as people decorate them, in their natural predisposition to rumors and legends.

Death in most cases is an unexpected end, and as the philosophers say, "We must expect it everywhere!"

Ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus, who is often called "the father of the European tragedy," died at age 69, age enough for "statistics." Curiously, however, are the circumstances that put an end to his earthly days.

They are as unusual as they would not have been in the boldest imagination tragedies. According to the description in the ancient chronicles, Aeschylus became a victim of ... a turtle. Eagle lifted the turtle in the air for food, but suddenly dropped it off its beak and it fell right on the head of the genius playwright.

In the second half of the 19th century, detective Allan Pinkerton is one of the most prominent personalities in Europe. All newspapers follow his investigations. One day, however, while walking, Pinkerton stumbled and bite his tongue. This alleged little mischief led to his recent death.... from gangrene.

The name of Isadora Duncan is a legend. This beautiful dancer perishes in a terribly ridiculous way. On September 14, 1927, while traveling with her car in Nice, her long scarf tangled in his tires and strangled her. According to rumors whose reliability was not confirmed, Isadora got in her car with the words: "Goodbye, buddies, I'm going to glory!"
Today, these words sound more like fiction than as a premonition of the dead, because Isadora Duncan loved to joke with her fame, a sense of self-irony. Superstition will be to believe that her last words may have caused the fate, but who knows?

The last appearances and statements of the illusionist-legend Harry Houdini are also about the challenges of death. Once three curious students tied up a conversation with him and one of them asked him, could he hit him in his belly to make sure he was of "steel"? Houdini replied with a nod, let him try. He accepted three strong blows, but one of them was fatal - provoked a burst of appendix, followed by peritonitis.

At that time there were no antibiotics and the Great Houdini died. His "Death Escape" number remains unsurpassed in the world's illusion, but here the illusionist himself fails to "escape" from it, for the ridiculous suggestion he is recklessly taking.

Brandon Lee was going through a tough road to get into Hollywood. He has to overcome the shadow of his legendary father. The boy did not want to see him as "Bruce Lee's son."

Finally with a lot of hard work, he gets the glory - during the filming of the film, The Raven in 1993, in the shotgun in his hero, turns out to be a real, not a halos patron. The wound is in the stomach. Strong bleeding can not be mastered and Brandon Lee dies. Only at 28.

The investigation leads to an accident, not a planned murder, as rumors go. In fact, so far some have thought that his father, Bruce Lee, has died not from a headache pill, but from the Japanese mafia. When Father Bruce dies, Brendan was eight yers old. Father and son Lee were buried side by side in Seattle's central cemetery.
