Wide Asleep

Woke up in a small square room, there are two beds, one on each side of the wall with feet facing the door and a window at our heads. Denis and I got up at the same time and everything seems normal, it is light outside. As I approach the door, everything is dark and I try the switch which does nothing. As I look at Denis, it looks light but when I look at the switch everything looks dark. I realize we are in a dream and tell Denis that we are still dreaming and we are not really awake, he doesn't believe it.

I show him down the hallway which is dark and in the room there is a lightshow going on. He wants to go to investigate and as we're about to, I notice door starts to close as I cross the threshold between room and a hallway. Immediately I free to prevent door from closing. It is trying real hard to push me into hallway so we forget we're dreaming. I head back to the room at which point door no longer tries to close itself. On the table there are some paper with different designs and art on it, I try to memorize it so I can replicate it when awaken, but realize that I will not be able to record it by copying it since I am still in a dream.

Denis comes back to the room and starts to question me about being in a dream, at which point I point to the bed where now is a donkey laying on its side under cover. It doesn't seem odd to me that there is a donkey, Denis doesn't find anything odd about it either until I notice hands and feet are human, which then Denis notices too.
