"마이 무따 아이가. 고마해라."
나도 모르게 입에서 이 대사가 흘러나왔다. 그러고는 분노의 일격을 가했다.
전기 모기 채에서 "타닥, 탁" 소리와 함께 누린내가 퍼졌다. 몸은 이미 여러 군데 가렵지만 그나마 위안이 되었다.
가을 모기가 왜 더 극성인 것일까? 잠을 제대로 잘 수가 없다.
아침 화장실에서 느릿느릿 날아가는 모기 한 마리를 발견했다.
문득 의문이 들었다. 과연 그놈이 그놈이었을까? 배 채운 놈은 다른 데 쉬러 가지 않았을까?
