Romans 12:2

2.And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

When we say renew what dies it mean?
It simply means having a change of mind over a particular thing. Having a different perspective about something, somebody or a situation. It also means to replace, that means replacing an old thing or way of thinking with a new one.
The dictionary puts it this way, to make (something) new again; to restore to freshness or original condition.

Now having known this let's move further. From the passage above you need to be transformed in the mind because doing this means every other thing will definitely work well. An untransformed mind looks down on itself, carries itself like a slave, or mediocre, thinks less of his or herself etc.
A transformed mind will always think big, think positive not negative.
A transformed mind will see sickness lurking around but will behave as if such doesn't exist.
A transformed mind will take the bull by the horn not minding the negative situations surrounding it.
A transformed mind will speak wealth in the midst of poverty while an untransformed mind will speak lack in the midst of wealth.
A transformed mind will speak healing in the midst of pains and sickness but an untransformed mind will speak death in the midst of pains.

No matter how wealthy your earthly parents are, if you lack understanding and you are deficient of a renewed mind then you will still remain poor.
Upgrade your mind, if you need to use hyssop to wash it, then do it.
Delete, format, evacuate or get rid of negative thinking, it will not enable you to grow rather you will be stunted.
