Fear God
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28.
The beginning verse throws more wisdom on who everyone is to fear and respect; The Lord Jesus told His followers to fear nobody except the one who lives in heaven.
The reason for this is that, the human body is exposed to receive attacks from various individuals, the body can be killed; the soul is out of reach because it belongs to only one person.
God is the one who should earn our fear and respect, because he owns everything outside and within us. For the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Dear reader, do you fear and respect God? Share your comments below!
