A quick question, “Who are you following?” There is a saying that two blind men can’t lead themselves. It’s quite obvious that they would not even know where they are headed to. Most times in reality, we do not even know who we are following, we either follow the blind people or we are even the blind while others follow us.
The blind here are the kind of people who have no insight, who can not lead people to the right path and who have nothing reasonably new to impact into the life of the people around them. Most times we follow people who are more than us or greater than us.
But in the first place who are we willing to follow in the real setting of life, do you intend sticking around those that will waste your time and just take from you without giving anything in return? The choice is yours.
Channeling all this point to steemit. I always say that steemit is more than real life than what we see it as. Who are you following on steemit? What is your reason for following them? Are you following the right people or just going with the band wagon.
I came into steemit with just a clear mind, a notion to meet new people with different idea and perspective from mine .Then I decided I was going to follow people I can learn things and also follow their step to making my presence count here on steemit.
So far so good, the people I have followed are not blind and in more ways than one I have been able to learn one or two things from them, that way I can have something to also impact on my followers too.
Following certain people so far has broadened my idea here on steemit and chatting with them all have given me the ability to go above my limits.
The people I am following on steemit are now more than friends to me because they are welcoming and ready to offer any help in their power anytime. @donkeypong has never given up on upvoting and supporting the little I am offering here. @stellabelle has been awesome with her mentoring and generosity, @ehiboss my Nigerian hero and workaholic has been helpful countless times, @infovore one my best personality on steemit, @papa-pepper although started following him of recent but his post on etiquette taught me so much. @hanshotfirst who upvotes my every post, @dragonslayer, @ogoowinner and so many other who makes my stay here worthwhile.
So my point exactly is this, while following someone here make sure that person can impact positively to your growth and that they are ready to assist you in anyway possible. Hence, be a good follower to follow people who are ready to help you here in the journey of steemit.
For me, I am following @gloglo and whether she is ready to assist me or not, i will keep following her because i happen to be her good follower, though she hardly noticed
if someone has something nice written, either funny.. good post, one serious post, as far as i am into it, I'll follow that person :D .

@gloglo - A very good point about following a visionary else, it will be a case of blind leading blind. Upvoted
Thank you, I just felt the need to share it.
I think i will follow you because you taught me something i will never forget.....Thanks @gloglo
Really, waoh if you don't mind sharing what that is. Am happy about that all the same. Thank you

Thanks for this nice piece of information u just shared here!! I have not been up to a month here but atleast, ur article has given me a good guide..
I'm here to make friends, not really follow or be followed. And of course friends can learn from each other ;-)
That's a wonderful take on following. It mirrors life. You are the sum of the people you surround yourself with. Pick your peers so they lift you up.
Cheers. This is a nice thought. It will make me more conscious of my itchy follow trigger finger. Haha.
Cheers. Have a great day. I found you through @cryptohustlin and his redistribution game.
