AMAZING ADJUSTMENTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO ME SINCE I JOINED STEEMIT

I am thankful to @surpassinggoogle for the opportunity to write this post.

I found out about steemit around August 2017 through a friend like brother @samstickkz, but did not join because I had to be on compulsory bed rest. During that time I was advised by my Doctror not to be active with my phone. Sometimes she would instruct the nurses to take my phone for a while so I could rest. Thank God I am better now.

There are quite a number of things that have happened (changed) and are still happening (changing) in my life since I joined steemit.

1 THE ABILITY TO WRITE

Why did I start with this. Because personally I dont do much of writing but now I can say I have improved because one has to have a reasonable content that will benefit the steemit community to be able to get the right results out of your post. I know that what you practice stays and gets better by the day so I am glad that my writing skills are being developed.

2 TIME MANAGEMENT

Seriously there is never enough time for anything but I have learnt a lot by reading from steemit great mind on this great platform. Timing is everything. One should know when to be on line and participate in whatever is voing on. Being married, working as well as taking care of the family has affected my being on line initially but I have learnt to stay awake after everyone has gone to sleep and wake up even earlier to at least read some new posts ofnthe day.

3 A HOPE FOR A GREAT YEAR 2018 AND THE FUTURE

This I would say I am most grateful about. Steemit is a place where you are paid for the post, upvotes and comments that you make. The joy of it alone is refreshing.
This awesome platform has given me the opportunity to socialise and make wonderful lifetime friends.
My thought process has taken a different dimention because of the great gold mines of informations and ideas that can be tapped from this community.
I am also thinking of giving back to the less priviledged in the society on my birthday coming up later this month. The excitement is welling up on the inside of me right now. I see people giving to, humanity onnthis platform and I am so inspired to give the much I can even as a newbie.

I have been so inspired and am thankful to a lot of persons who do not even know me and i have not been able to have even a conversation with but their writeups have spoken expressly to me. To mention a few are @samstickkz always motivating me and pushing even when I don't feel like, @surpassinggoogle, @amec, @ewuoso, @tojukaka, @ejemai, @emem, @annieben, @jerryboy4love, @stimp1024, @nwamaka and many more. I say thank you all. Finally I want to thank God almighty for giving me life and to express myself on steemit.

A piece of advice I got is "choose your boss (mentor) with care". Your choice of a boss is going to have a major impact on how much you earn, how much you get ahead, and how happy you will be at your job. Brian Tracy
