TURKEY & VEGETABLE KABOBS
YOU DESERVE SOME OF THESE KABOBS FOR THE WEEKEND!!!
Hi dear,
Now that the long awaited weekend is finally here, what special meal/dish/food/meat/fish/drinks etc do you intend to feast on??? Feel free to share with our fellow steemians in the comment section! Personally, I'M ALL EARS!!! 😄
As for me, I am gallantly gearing up for some yummilicious and tantalllliiiiiiizziiiinnnnggggg Turkey with Vegetables Kabobs 😋 😛
But peradventure you haven't got any special meal in the pipeline for the weekend, be bold enough to indicate with your index finger up 👆 and I will gladly pass some of these delicious kabobs over to you! Yes, I will be happy to do it 🤞!
I grill quite a lot especially when the weather is sunny and maybe you too. Yeeaahhhh, I can grill almost everything ranging from turkey, chicken, fish, beef, assorted vegetables and fruits etc....... However, my favourite to grill is turkey. Trust me, I cannot just pinpoint exactly what it is about the turkey meat that tickles my fancy --- probably its flavourful aroma, distinctive taste, pervasive smell, or tender texture. Well, I am yet to figure it out but till then, let me continue enjoying every bit of this delectable and mouthwatering white healthy meat.
While I enjoy every bit of these kabobs, I must assure you that they were quite easy to prepare and yet super delicious. So if peradventure you are looking for something so easy to grill over this weekend or anytime in the future, then search no further because I GOTCHA 😄 😀
The fragrance of these turkey and vegetable kabobs was so invasive while they were still in the oven to the extent that I nearly stopped everything I was doing to start feasting on them. Even while I was taking the photographs, I was so so close to pinching them first before capturing the images. Well, this is the price I've always paid and will continue to pay for being a food blogger 😄
Unfortunately, I have no best option because I can never give myself that satisfaction of eating my tempting dishes not until my camera is fully satisfied with enough images of the food. So my camera tastes and enjoys my meals first before giving me the privilege to follow suit! This is so unfair but I am happy with it. At least it gives me the privilege to share knowledge with my amazing fans from all over the world. What other joy can I derive from my meals than sharing with my fans out there virtually.
Grilling these kabobs was pretty easy as I started off by washing the turkey, cutting up the vegetables into desired shapes then throwing them all together in a bowl with few ingredients for a perfect outcome.
The recipe is a no brainer and I think you can easily give it a try. I can assure you that this recipe is definitely worth a try! If you have never tried turkey kabobs before, I encourage you to try it at least once. I have no doubt you will go for a second, third, fourth etc rounds. This is so true because by the the time you try it out the first time, you will surely admit that you have been missing quite a lot the past years.
As soon as the kabobs are out of the oven, serve them warm with some nice cuts of onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and spring onions. Enjoy!!!
Here is a Quick Video on How to Prepare these Kabobs and I hope you Enjoy it!!!

Oh in Malaysia, we will call them as Satay
I like the vegetable varieties. In Malaysia it is usually fatty meat.
Glad to hear this. Is the satay recipe the same as this? What kind of fatty meat do Malaysians use for the satay?
Thanks for appreciating the recipe.
It is almost the same for some. We have different types of satay in Malaysia.
The most basic one is BBQ it with glazed honey on light turmeric powder marinated meat (chicken, pork, beef, mutton, rabbit).
They usually pick the fatter parts of the meat for this to maintain the meats juicy tenderness. Too lean meat will ended up dry and hard.
Many thanks @littlenewthings for sharing the Malaysian Satay recipe with us! Much appreciated!
They prefer the fatter part! Now I see why their Satay are so fatty. Well, I try to stay away from too much fat --- just being health-conscious 😄
Oh Malaysians don't really eat the fat, they just use it to bake / BBQ so that the meat stays tender.
I for one will not eat the fat, but the meat is definitely much tender than just baking with the lean ones.
Oh I see your what you mean. Sounds like a good option as well. I prefer using olive oil to make the meat remain tender.
Anyways, thanks for your time/contributions and do have a blissful weekend.
YUM ! We're having a BBQ here tomorrow with friends and these would go down a treat :-)
Wow wow wow! Glad to know that you guys are gearing up for a MEGA BBQ tomorrow! I can perceive enough FUN in the air already 😄
Enjoy!
Oh yummy! Love kabobs! Thanks for the great steem😃
Same here! You are highly welcome my dear!
which one taste better? turkey or chicken? never eat turkey yet.
Personally, I prefer Turkey 100%. However, people's choices differ! One man's choice might be another man's poison.
You can try turkey and then make your choice! Cheers
My tummy rumbled while I was watching your video! Have you tried them on a bbq grill before? Next time the Mann wants to grill, I might just prep this one!!
😁 Yes, I've also tried it on bbq grill and it tastes amazing as well. Give it a try and you'll enjoy it.
Thank you
I'm sure it will, with your repeated backing, this recipe made my 'To Make' list! :)
I am honored! 😃 😁 💃
