Thank you so much, I am happy to hear that
I've thought about Patreon - really love their website and concept - but I don't have a following yet so I need to build that first. How do you like using it? would love your thoughts!
I had it for 2 year without doing anything ... I usually say to my artists in GDG that I recommend to build a following first ... without that it is useless ... I build a bit during Nov/Dec and all of a sudden a few fans had found their way there and I had to start doing something ... and now it is oki ... but first get a following and also think a lot about the content that you will offer and weigh it against the workload ... this is my initial advise ... I work a lot on my Patreon and I think it will take time if ever that it really pays off ... but any additional amount I can make at the moment is welcome ...if you have questions etc you can always ask me ... I like to help if I can my artpage is this you can pm me there (I answer faster there as I see it more ) www.facebook.com/AMVWART/
awesome, thanks for sharing your insights:) i watched a few "how to" videos on Patreon and they said something similar. I originally found it through Amanda Palmer (Im a big fan of her music and art - and she's a HUGE artist and uses it - makes $37k per thing), and also an internet friend of mine who's a youtuber. fun stuff. I'm still trying to build my audience and also narrow down the ideas and projects that work and create value for the community (other than poetry to read etc). and also how to incorporate video because i think video can bring a lot of value added to the audience (in terms of behind the scenes, process etc). still very much tweaking ideas and trying to get people on board :) i mostly use instagram right now and steemit but trying to think of how they all connect under one roof. i like your approach to the doodling - its interactive in a way that I'm still trying to figure out how to be. great job and keep going!:)
