Highlighted Reply Box Now Scrolls. Why?
What the what?!?
So, I'm looking at replies I have to comments I've made and I get to this one by @lynncoyle1.
I go to reply and attempt to scroll down so I can see the reply text window when the above happens. In case it's not clear, for some reason the text in her reply scrolled nearly out of sight.
That's never happened before. I ended up on a couple of other comments where the same thing happened. From what I can tell, this is only happening in the green highlighted boxes when your click through on a specific reply, as opposed to when you might reply when you've gone straight to the post.
Not sure why this is happening, or what advantage there might be to it, since the size of the highlighted box adheres to the amount of the text in any given comment, making scrolling within the box unnecessary.
I thought I'd make a quick post about it in case anyone else was having the same thing happening and wondered if others were too. The answer in that case is yes.
I'm in Firefox, which has proved a bit buggy with tables as well, like this one:
Part of the last column you can see is missing, but the main problem is there's a whole other column to the right of it you can't even see and wouldn't know was there without being told. This table, however, shows up perfectly in Safari, the other main browser I use.
Firefox is normally more dependable and less of a resource hog than Safari or Chrome. But now I can see it has it's own troubles.
Just checked the green box while using Safari, and it's scrolling there, too, so that particular issue is not browser specific.
I haven't encountered this error yet. If it helps, open the reply using steemworld.org. That way it will open the reply only so you can hopefully read the whole reply.
Actually, it seems to be fixed. And I just showed what it looked like after scrolling. You could see the hole message, but for some you could it scroll it even though the box was big enough to see all of the message. Just weird, but as I said, it's back to normal now.
