You don't have to use BTC for transactions, there are other options out there. Think BCH and LTC as better coins for cheaper and faster payment transactions..
Not All Countries Have Options To Sell LTC BCH ETH or any other except bitcoin ! I know this is best to convert it to LTC & cashout , but many countries don't have exchanges to cashout ALTcoins !

I've been resorting to transferring LTC instead. HitBTC in particular have been dreadful for withdrawing BTC and ETH for a while now, with some transactions taking up to a month to even receive a confirmation. It doesn't help that the exchange's fee is set in place.
