Drone Footage Over Part Of Birmingham AL
This is raw footage from a drone. You will see what the Birmingham Alabama area is like. This is also a trial run for me using D-Tube. I will upload something with a voice over next time. This is my third attempt to upload a video to this platform. I believe it has a great future ahead and many people will come to d-tube from the other more popular video platforms. I don't know why my other attempts failed to upload. It could have been that my internet connection was slower then but I typically have good speeds. This video took about 5 minutes to upload.

Sweet! I've never been there. Fun to get a glimpse. It's so green!
What drone are you using?
This is a custom made quad, controlled by a Naza flight controller w/GPS. Power distribution board is built-in, and not only runs power to the ESC’s, but also runs a video signal from the front of the frame to the back of the frame where you can mount your video transmitter. All-in-all, a great quad. 30amp ESC’s, 950kv 2836 motors, 10″props, and a 2200 3 cell battery . It will carry a much larger battery for longer flight times
Wow, that's intense. Did you build it yourself, or did someone help you with it?
What's the flight time on it with the smaller battery? Larger battery?
Range?
I have a friend that works for the sheriff department that builds them and he does search and rescue using special equipment. The one we were flying that day would last for about 15 minutes of flight time but he has some that will last a lot longer. Are you into flying them?
That's cool! I'm interested in it. I haven't seen people fly them, but haven't had the money to buy a good one. I do remember about 15 years ago thinking it would be cool to put a camera on a remote control plane. Now they have cameras that go everywhere.
I had one of these. It broke after a few days of crashing. And I evenhad the propeller guard on it. :)

Maybe Steem will go to 1000 and we can all buy new drones. :)
Sweet!! At that price I could buy tons of these. :)
Very cool! You know, I've still never seen a drone in action, in-person yet. Are they difficult to fly and maneuver? I would think it would take some practice/patience.
