1000 DAYS OF STEEM - The Diary Game - 06/09/2020: A Sunday with family and friends - Una domenica tra famiglia e amici [ENG-ITA]

Hello everyone!

Today I spent a pleasant day with my family and friends, which hasn't happened in a long time.

It was a beautiful Sunday, which began with a morning at home with my children and my wife, free from worries and work commitments.

Then the day continued with a family lunch at my parents' home.

I was particularly happy because my brother and his wife were with us today, along with their daughter who was recently born.

Even if it created a bit of chaos, which is normal when there are small children of different ages, everything went very well and my children were really happy to see their little cousin.

We also stayed all afternoon, because it was a warm and sunny day...at my parents' house there is a lot of space and they can run and play outdoors.
The children, then, love to be with their grandparents and the satisfaction is widely reciprocated by the latter.

In the evening, we met with our friends with whom we made an appointment to have an ice cream.

We had to wait our turn, because due to the anti-covid rules, we had to queue outside, as accesses were limited.

In the end we had ice cream, to the delight of everyone, but above all of Daniele, my second son, who, despite being only 10 months old, is a great ice cream lover.
In fact, he ate quite a bit from ours and would have gladly continued if at some point we hadn't tactically made it disappear.

After finishing the ice cream, we set off on foot and with strollers because we wanted to take a ride in the center.

In the square and in the main street there was a fair amount of people, many were sitting at the tables of the bars and chatting while having a drink or eating a snack.

Others were out and about like us, enjoying this cool late summer Sunday evening in a very relaxed way.

I leave you with an image of the main square of the city, Piazza Duomo, and of the Town Hall, which for some time has been illuminated with the colors of the Italian flag.

An evocative vision that makes this historic building more beautiful and contributes to creating a patriotic atmosphere, which never seems to be more adequate than in this moment.

Ciao a tutti!

Oggi ho trascorso una piacevole giornata con la mia famiglia e i miei amici, come non capitava da molto tempo.

E' stata una bella domenica, iniziata con una mattinata a casa con i miei figli e mia moglie, libero da pensieri e da impegni lavorativi.

Poi la giornata è continuata con un pranzo in famiglia a casa dei miei genitori.

Sono stato particolarmente contento perché oggi sono stati con noi anche mio fratello e sua moglie, insieme alla loro bimba che è nata da poco.

Anche se si è creato un po' di caos, cosa normale quando ci sono bambini piccoli seppur di età diverse, tutto è andato benissimo e i miei figli sono stati davvero contenti di vedere la loro piccola cuginetta.

Siamo rimasti anche per tutto il pomeriggio, perché è stata una giornata calda e soleggiata...a casa dei miei genitori c'è tanto spazio e si possono fare corse e giochi all'aperto.
I bimbi, poi, amano stare con i nonni e il gradimento è ampiamente ricambiato da questi ultimi.

In serata,ci siamo incontrati con i nostri amici con i quali ci siamo dati appuntamento per prendere un gelato.

Abbiamo dovuto aspettare il nostro turno, perché a causa delle norme anti-covid, bisognava fare la fila all’esterno, essendo stati limitati gli accessi.

Alla fine abbiamo preso il gelato, per la gioia di tutti, ma soprattutto di Daniele, il mio secondo figlio, che, pur avendo soltanto 10 mesi, è un grande amante del gelato.
Infatti ne ha mangiato un bel po' dal nostro e avrebbe continuato volentieri se ad un certo punto non l'avessimo tatticamente fatto sparire.

Dopo aver finito il gelato, ci siamo incamminati a piedi e con i passeggini perché avevamo voglia di fare un giro in centro.

In piazza e nel corso principale c’era una discreta quantità di persone, molte erano sedute ai tavolini dei bar e chiacchieravano bevendo un drink o mangiando uno spuntino.

Altre erano in giro come noi e si godevano in maniera molto rilassata questa domenica sera fresca di fine estate.

Vi lascio con un'immagine della piazza principale della città, Piazza Duomo, e del Municipio, che da qualche tempo è illuminato con i colori della bandiera italiana.

Una visione suggestiva che rende più bello questo storico edificio e contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera patriottica, che mai come in questo momento sembra essere davvero adeguata.
