Aloe Vera is full of a multitude of vitamins such as:
- A, C, E;
- folic acid (B9), B1, B2, B3, B6;
- one of the highest containing B12 plants, which helps brain and nervous system.
Aloe Vera has been praised for its skin moisturizing properties as well as a mineral-rich plant containing:
- calcium;
- magnesium;
- zinc;
- chromium;
- selenium;
- sodium;
- iron and potassium;
- packed with amino and fatty acids.
Aloe Vera is one of the easiest plants to grow from cuttings and you can purchase the leaf at many grocery retailers and health food stores.
If you would be interested in making your own juice at home, all you need is the leaf and to immediately remove the rind and the yellow layer just under the rind (aloin).
Once you have performed the aforementioned, follow these steps:
Healing spray:
Ingredients -
- Fresh Aloe Vera leaf
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup of lemon juice
- Sharp knife
- Spoon
- Strainer
- Blender
- Ice cube tray
- Water
- Spray bottle (glass is preferable)
Directions -
Remove all the top green layer and the spiny sides, but leave the bottom of the leaf to hold in the meat. With a spoon, scoop out the meat and discard all the green.
Place the meat in a strainer and rinse with cold water.
Place the rinsed meat into a blender and use a 1/4 to 1/3 cup of lemon juice. The lemon keeps the meat from browning.
Blend for 30 - 60 seconds and pour into the ice tray. Whatever is not being frozen must be refrigerated immediately until you are read to freeze into ice cubes.
Once fronzen, use only one ice cube in a blender with 3 cups of water and blend for 60 seconds. Pour the juice into a spray bottle and use on your skin, hair bites any wounds regularly and as often as you would like. Always keep refrigerated.
Note: If you choose not to freeze the Aloe Vera juice, note that it will only last 1 week in the refrigerator. This is because there are not preservatives and it is all natural.
To your health!!!!

You are so right. We have this wonder plant in our garden and use it in smoothies BUT I have not tried it on the skin yet because a friend told me that if it rains, your skin can get discoloured from it (and there is a lot of rain here). Is this true? Feels right because of the gel factor. But at the same time this sounds like an urban myth. I will look into it and post if I find anything, noting that I am too addicted to the internet to make some av lotion and test it on my skin in the rain myself and it is hammering down today lol
Thank you for the reply. I think that is an urban myth. I never heard of anything like this but i will check. I think you are supposed to wash it off too before going. This is more of a night thing from my understanding. Please let me know if you find anything.
Will do. Maybe will test it myself and let u know.
Cool thx.
