Lets start:
When the Hellenic Revolution of 1821 started , naturally , there was no sample of tactical army . Even more there was no artillery or cavalry .
All battles were made from rebel forces fighting for freedom and the first artillery canons were occupied from the enemy after victorious battles.
On June, 1821 , Dimtrios Ypsilantes , created a small semi regiment of infantry in the city of Kalamata.
This sample of tactical force , was suppported by (2) mountain canons , purchased in Trieste at the expense of the expatriates. Unfortunately, this first tactical force was entirely destroyed in the Battle of Peta in 1822.
In 1828, Hellenic state gain its independence and Ioannis Kapodistrias was set as Governor. The same year the 1st artillery regiment is created with 24 small canons , 36 siege canons and 24 mortars.
In 1843 , the regiment was supplied with Howziters too.
In the end of 1867, the artillery force was supplied with Krupp canons of 75 & 105 mm as also with canons of 87 mm.

In 1910, field artillery had new arrivals ! Schneider 75mm canons and Krupp 105mm as also collapsible Schneider-Danglis 75mm for the mountain artillery force.
The Hellenic artillery took part in the battles of Sarantaporo , Giannitsa, Thessaloniki, Korytsa, Florina, Bizanio, Kilkis, Kresna , Belles, Neurokopio and Kavala , during 1912-1913 which were all victorious !
WORLD WAR I period
During WWI(1914-1918), Hellenic Artillery was consisted from :
3 infantry regiments with Schneider 75mm and Scoda
1 regiment of heavy artillery with De Bange 120mm
1 regiment of heavy artillery with De Bange 155mm
20 mountain artillery divisions with canons of 65mm and 75mm of varius types from spoils of war.
Hellenic artillery was used during the WWI , in the Macedonian front in the battles of Skra, Strymonas, Doirani, Kerkini.

I have to mention that chief General Panagiotis Danglis invented the 75mm Schneider-Danglis mountain gun.
The invention of a mountain gun that could easily be broken down to pieces for transport, and reassembled into a highly efficient weapon is claimed by two Greek army engineers, (then) Engineering Corps Major P. Lykoudis, who made such a design in 1891, and then Artillery Major Panagiotis Danglis (Παναγιώτης Δαγκλής), who made his own design in 1893

That era was probably the most interesting, concerning the design of guns.
Probably the last point, gave us the edge during 1914 and 1915, as we learned in Balkan Wars how important indirect fire can be.
