Walk In The Humber Bridge Country Park

Yesterday we made the drive from Manchester to the outskirts of Hull where the Humber Bridge Country Park is located. On the site is the Humber Bridge, which is a suspension bridge that joins North to South Humberside.

The walk starts in the car park but go through a gate and down a massive amount of steps into the old quarry below. The trees towering over you and the slopes of the quarry a vibrant green with stone showing through.

There was a pond where the dogs enjoyed playing and splashing around.

The open grass lands full of threatened insects and plaques in place to tell you all about them and how the park is set out to help them flourish!

Overall the walk was lovely, we had a few openings of the heavens and got a little wet but oh well it was worth it for the views and family time!
