VW Baja Beetle 1972 1600cc Petrol

Here is my VW Baja Beetle in bright orange and black and his name is 'Ginge'!
Ginge is 45 years old and is a 1303 beetle cut up with body kit and a few extras to change him into the Baja you see now.

The wheel arches have been made larger to accommodate 4x4 tyres on the rear of the car. These do make the car slippy in the wet, but all part of the fun! The wheels on the front are standard beetles, and make turning interesting also.

The back of the car has been cut off and left the engine exposed to the elements which has created a load of new problems, but makes it stand out and is completely different. The weather has to be pretty nice to bring it out Ginge doesn't like the cold and starts to freeze up and doesn't like the wet as it sucks water into the engine.

But I tell you what all these problems are part of the character!!!
I love the little car, so fun and is part of you while driving!!!
