There's been some chatter around town about the expected scene for the upcoming Cannabis Legalization Rally in Annapolis and honestly, It make's my eye's roll
What they expect
A lawn full of dirty, unmotivated, derelicts labeled as "Stoners" or "Criminals" smoking joints, acting inappropriate and causing trouble. 👎👎👎
What they'll GET
A lawn full of teachers, bus drivers, lawyers, hair dressers, dog groomers... NORMAL PEOPLE all actively contributing to society and their communities. They'll see children fighting for their lives through illness and The parents forced to break federal law to keep their children alive. They'll see poets, gym rats, artists, educators, business owners and all the other creative minds that have been positively influenced through the miracle of hemp. People of every race, age, background & creed united in solidarity for our right to safe access to safe alternatives! 👍👍👍
We have suffered through illness, incarceration, expensive fines and unjust treatment for far too long! Through all of this, the cannabis community for the most part has done what they can to continue to function within society in secret.... in secret?! in this FREE NATION?! There is no need to hide anymore!
Let's continue to #SquashTheStigma and move towards freedom in this upcoming show of support! Together we can show them it's OK to #LegalizeMD! not only it it just "OK" It may be the financial motivation we need to #RestoreBaltimore and all the other struggling communities in Maryland.
