River Of Daisies
The way these daisies flow into the distance in this photograph reminds me of a river flowing through the landscape. Look closely and you will see a number of bees, floating on the petals.

How lovely... Like you said - the river of daisies. I never saw so many of them growing in one place... And the bees are like the cherry on top.

Nah. It's at the beginning of the title except if I look in edit it isn't it doesn't exist. I bet it's that bloody charlot or chrissie or nonstop they're going potty this evening! 😁

Such a pretty pop of bright yellow amongst the green grass in this photo. I definitely see the "river" effect these daisies create too!

Very nice plants painting work, is as you says, daisies seems like a river spreading down through the other plants wich looks like the river side... cool!

I wouldn't be afraid of going through the daisies in an emergency. We don't have much of be afraid of here, as far as I know, a few beetles and worms maybe! 😂 I wouldn't like the idea of trampling on the flowers though.
I would be afraid of going through them in a non-emergency as this was taken in a public garden and there are a few humans around that wouldn't be too happy with people running through them! 😁
Haha yeah, not many would be happy to see others wandering inside the public gardens here too.
I was trying to remark the nice mood of bees. You can go through the daisies and they won't hurt you for sure. I tried it many times during my work that I had to get into some flowered crops, they never attacked us but always getting out of our path. They are so immersed on their search for pollen and there are so many flowers to step by that they don't care others being around.
I was one of those afraid of bees but I changed my mind when sharing their dinning places 😂
I cannot say the same on wasps wich normally are bad mooded if disturbed for any reason, not to mention getting close to their nests.
Ah. Well I'm not very happy about the prospect of being stung a bee @drakernoise, but then who is? The only time I was stung I had to go to hospital. Not as serious as anaphylactic shock but bad enough to need to get it checked out.
Wasps are unpleasant but didn't produce such a sever reaction when I was stung by one.
Yes, indeed, I see a lot of bees there. Beautiful picture. Gillian, you live in an amazing place. You have all flowers are rising in large quantities: I remember field with poppies, and now field with daisies. Beauty!!!
You have a good memory @madlenfox but, although the poppies were indeed growing wild in a field, these daisies are cultivated in a more formal garden. Still beautiful though! 😊
