We visited Plovdiv some years ago. I remember the ampitheatre but not much else. I'd have to look at my photographs to remember which town it was. 😁
Haha. It was a nice surprise going to Plovdiv because we were a bit underwhelmed by Sofia. The weather was great and we also enjoyed a resort style hotel with a pool. A great trip all round!
