RE: 10,000 Colourful Books

The most disappointing photographs are the long distance ones I think @lynncooyle1, when you're looking at a landscape, for example, and you can see something lovely with your eyes but in the picture it turns into just a tiny dot. I've learned not to eve bother taking those sorts of photographs now. 😢

So true @gillianpearce !! I actually had a nice wide angle and zoom lens on my camera that I sold before coming here.

Why you ask? Just don't ask! Ugh!

I won't ask then @lynncoyle1. 😁

I discovered a similar error yesterday that has me kicking myself .

For years I kept an envelope with all the details on my Nepal trip in it. Tickets, brochures, receipts etc.

Following a conversation on my Nepal Houses post I went to look for it because I wanted to check some information. then I remembered I chucked it out about a month ago.

As it had been hanging around and not looked at for a long while I though it would be one less thing for the kids to have to deal and binned it.

I'm so pissed off about it.

Even worse is my desk is still covered with crap so it's not like getting rid of it made any difference. Grrrrrr! 😢

Oh noooo @gillianpearce, I feel your pain!!! Don't throw anything else out and let your kids one day have to deal with it all. These damn kids have put us through plenty, at the very least, they deserve a mess to clean up when we're gone haha😎

Well as things stand at the moment they've got one hell of a mess to deal with. More than is fair I think.

But chucking out that envelope of my Nepal souvenirs was a big of an empty gesture really. Sorting out all my bank/household paperwork would be a better start and my online life will be a nightmare for them!

That's one of the huge disadvantages of living in one place for a long time, you end up accumulating stuff and bills and accounts. Then add to that a number of online businesses over the years and you end up with one hell of a mess. 😢

hahaha @gillianpearce, I get it!! When my ex and I split, we had a big house and I cleansed big time. Then when Brian and I moved in together, I had another pretty big house, and did a second purge. Since then, I've been tossing things until of course our final move here. All I have left is a storage locker and what we store in our 5th wheel/RV back home. My kids are lucky I guess 😅

Sounds like your kids are lucky @lynncoyle1 but I would love to get to massively reduce the stuff I have and get to grips with the paperwork/online stuff.

I may get around to it yet. You never know. 😁
