The event is usually a sell out, as are most international events in Velodromes @cryptocariad. They are relatively small spaces so don't have masses of tickets.
I think that's part of what makes them so exciting. You can easily see all the action, walk around and stand in different places in you want to and the noise is deafening (in a good way) and moves around the Velodrome with the cyclists.
The 6 day just has races in the evenings, possibly the same ones but I can't remember exactly, but international events usually have three sessions in a day and it's the usual process of progressing through rounds. 😊
Thank you so much for the extra info, @gillianpearce. It must really be a very exciting event with the changes of light, sound and movement ! Just checked and the closest velodrome to us is in South Wales (Newport !).
I didn't realise newport had a velodrome @cryptocariad. Do they have any international events there do you know? 😊
I think so @gillianpearce, but I've never been there or to Newport :D ...
The velodrome is part of an 'international sports village' - here's the website address just in case.
London's quite handy for us so we're unlikely to come across to Newport. It's a bit of a schlep. 😁
