That's interesting @cryptocariad. I've never heard of anything like that before.
hove lawns are really yellow as well and it's hard to imagine them ever being green again. But hopefully the grass will recover.

We were talking about that with a friend on Wednesday and talking about how long the roots need to be and that @gillianpearce... I have been watering some of our closest apple trees but they don't look that happy either - the ground underneath is very stony ...
