House Boats on the Thames
Here's another photograph from my walk along the Thames Path last Sunday.
These house boats are moored at Chiswick Pier, just before the houses I posted about on Tuesday, in the Monomad Street Photography Contest.
This is my entry to @juliank's and @photocontests daily photography contest, the theme of which is vehicles.

If Steem goes to the moon I think there are nicer wharfs than Chiswick Pier to get a boat on. Back in the day Chelsea was very nice but, of course, it might have gone off the boil now.
I quite like Regents Canal too. Chelsea might be better for a weekend pad though. I'm a bit out of touch. Will need to investigate and get up to date on all the new moorings that I'm sure have been developed since I lived in London. 😁

Yes, agreed. Stay by the sea, safe as can be. I ran away from civilization and lived on the beach here for 5yrs some time ago. When I got back in the world things had changed drastically. I almost wish I had stayed there but it was time to move on. The beach is indeed a place of rejuvenation or death and resurrection depending your perspective. Nonetheless this is what I woke up to near every day
Just looking at that photograph makes me feel peaceful @spozone. Add the sound of the waves and it's a winning combination.
I would love to live within the sound of the sea again. I've only done it once, for a short time, but I loved it!
