It's hard to believe that this beautiful day was way back in February before the two lots of snow we had. It feels like the weather turned and never recovered. 😢
I should have taken more sunny weather photos when I had the chance! 😊
In the background you can see the Metropole Hotel on the right and the i360 which I've written about a couple of times in other posts, on the left.

You can still people more or less bundled up in the background, so it's still nippy though a very nice day. We get those here quite a bit. Nice color contrast with the boats. They stand out very well.
Thanks @glenalbrethsen. I liked the contrast of colours too and yes, it was a bit chilly. But nothing like we've had since. I do believe the sun is actually shining again today but I think I might go in search of another cafe to work in. Should I go before or after breakfast? That is the question. 😊
Too late for me to give any advice on that. Hazard of living seven hours or so behind in time zones. Eventually, I do have to trundle off to sleep.
I take it though, the decision was made, and you ended up somewhere. Did you make it to a different café and did it work? You were planning to test out another place using the same company as the first one you liked to go to.
I went out after breakfast in the end @glenalbrethsen. I think the only way to get out before would be not to turn my computer on. I usually need breakfast before i finish answering comments. This morning two hours passed and I still hadn't answered all of them. Some of yours included. I hope to get around to them before I go to bed but, if I don't, please forgive me!
I started out in the library. The internet was fine there and I'll be going back there as it's an environment I really enjoy.
Now I'm in a different branch of the cafe where the internet stopped working. I wasn't able to connect right away but I got one step further. It looked like the service wasn't recognising my computer as it kept asking me if I wanted to add a new device. I haven't changed my computer but I acted as though I had and, that way I was able to get on.
Now, the final phase will be to see whether I can now connect in the original cafe. It won't be today as I've had my coffee for this afternoon! 😁
I don’t know anything about boats but I did learn yesterday something about colors 😂😂😂

Pretty grey again today, cold wind with a few sunny spells. Not good weather for taking photographs. Surely Spring has to arrive properly soon! 😊
Apparently Saturday will bring us the first signs of spring!

Now that sounds good @fullcoverbetting especially as we are looking after the grandchildren. Hopefully we'll be able to get out with them! 😁
How old are they? My kids are 6 and 9, while they do enjoy the Sun, they don't mind the rain, cause it is a school holiday in Belgium and they expect to be allowed to play on the playstation and Nintendo switch!
They are only three and almost one @fullcoverbetting. The youngest isn't walking yet to he's pretty high maintenance! 😁
It was really the three year old that could do with getting out, to run off a bit of steam!
Wait until they are 6 and 9, then we will talk about high maintenance. For sure if they are going to be active in sports, music or whatever.
We both work 40 hours a week, so we don't count a little bit on my parents. But both play football. So we do have 6 days out of 7 football like activities. During the week my dad brings them to the practice, I rush there from work to take over!
We have them every other Saturday plus other days when needed. Much as I love them, that's quite sufficient for me. I've done my parenting of young children duties whilst working full time. 😁
It's way more tiring nowadays, especially picking up/carrying around a one year old.
However, the three year old is moving into a new phase where he can do different things and so is easier to entertain from that perspective.
I've recently got him interested in paper shredding for example. Very useful! 😂
