INTRODUCTION

Hello professor @sapwood,hello Steemians it's a privilege to participate once again in the Steemit Crypto Academy Season 4 edition. My time in this community has helped in opening my eyes to the crypto world,and here we have another wonderful sets of courses to help us understand more. The tireless efforts of the organizers and professors are indeed admirable.

Without further ado ,here are my findings in the attempt to sort out the task 1 homework,hope it meets your standards.

WHAT IS TRONLINK AND ITS USES?

Tronlink is a wallet of Tron that has been officially recognized,it simplifies links to the Tron blockchain and ecosystem. It can connect a website's content to a safe platform where you can receive,send ,and confirm transactions because it's a browser extension.

Tronlink similarly functions as our desktop wallet but also offers a developer API for Tron applications. The extension has the ability to keep your funds safe and secure because it runs on a wide range of encryptions.

Users have the leisure of importing already existing accounts and also generating additional accounts with an assurance of security of funds.

Seeing as Tronlink is the most popular and actually the first Tron wallet ,it enables users to interact with DAPPS(e.g JUST,JustSwap,JustLend,Sun,etc),it functions as a Tron wallet similar to how MetaMask is for Ethereum . Tronlink works with chrome and brave browsers. It comes in a number of variants.

• iOS
• Android
• Chrome extension
• Etc.

WHAT IS TRONSCAN AND ITS USES?

Similar to how Tronlink is the official Tron wallet, that's how TRONSCAN is the official and well recognized explorer of the Tron Ecosystem and it's smart contract blockchain. TRONSCAN provides a built-in web wallet for Tron token transactions (sending ,receiving,and managing) and an access to DAPPS across the network.

BLOCK EXPLORER

Tronscan performs the basic function of a block explorer ,like;

• Exploring the Tron Genesis block
• Checking latest blocks and their transactions
• Checking the validity of a wallet
• Checking the hash of a transaction
• Identifying the senders' and recipients' addresses
• Checking the overview of a transaction
• checking transaction fee and wallet balances.
• Looking up smart contracts and on chain data.

Apart from these basic functions,it also supports voting, contract deployment,token creation and etc.

It's goal is to promote transparency,so the Tron blockchain has a ledger that is public,from where informations are gotten and displayed on the TRONSCAN website

HOW DO YOU VERIFY A TRANSACTION STATUS(INCLUDING TIMESTAMP, RESOURCE CONSUMPTION [BANDWIDTH & ENERGY], NOS OF CONFIRMATION) USING TRONSCAN?

• Visit the website https://tronscan.org/#/
• You can search for any transaction by entering it's address or transaction hash in the search field
• This gives an access to the transaction's status and all it's details related to Txn.
• Choosing a random Txn to verify on Tronscan,we have:

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT DAPPS CAN YOU EXPLORE USING THE TRONLINK WALLET?

From what I've gathered so far, 1,400 dApps have been created so far on the Tron network,with a transaction volume of $12 million daily.

How To Perform A Swap With Justswap Using My Tronlink Wallet

• Go to my Tronlink pro wallet app
• Click on swap

• Put in the cryptocurrency you wish to swapand the amount. You'll see the exchange rate and it's equivalent to the cryptocurrency you're swapping to.
• Click on instant swap.

• The breakdown of your transaction will appear, seeking your confirmation.

• You confirm successfully by inputting your password.

• Transaction failed/pending/completed will appear here
  

CONCLUSION

For my conclusion,I'm gonna state that Tron has a bright future. One thing that has made the Tron public chain secure and outstanding is that it runs on a decentralized platform.

The Tron ecosystem has given itself targets to achieve as the year goes by, called a 10-year road map found in it's white paper
