The Fan: Investors have the opportunity to fund their favorite channels and celebrities and also get a portion of the profits for an agreed upon amount of time, all the while enjoying the content that they helped fund.

The Contract: Protostarr uses a secure and user-friendly web-based interface for Starrs to create smart contracts. The smart contract holds revenue generated by the channel in escrow and pays out automatically to investors and content creators at predetermined increments and percentages. After a predetermined amount of time has passed, the contract expires and the content creator has full access to all of the income that they generate.
