Pay it forward - Saturday motivation!
Last night I fell asleep in the middle of one of my favorite television shows. My husband is working mad crazy shifts at work, and I try to stay awake so I at least see him but the late nights took it's toll last night. I didn't get to see him when he came in.
This morning he left early again, before I woke up. It's been a crazy few days, and when I eventually woke up I just didn't feel ready for this day.
I know many of you have felt the same way. That feeling of playing hooky and to just crawl back into bed with a good book and just sleep the day away.
But such is life. Life is hard and tough, and whatever we go through we just have to push through and finish it. Not many of us have the luxury not to work, because we have families to feed, and other responsibilities that we can't neglect, but what if YOU can change the way people see the world?
What if you could lift someone's spirit and make them want to get out of bed?
What if you can turn a bad day for someone into a good day?
Kindness costs nothing!
One little act of random kindness, can change someone's life. It can brighten up someone's day, and make them more positive about life.
Have you ever done anything for someone else without them asking, and then felt better about yourself?
What if we could all just go out and do one good thing for someone else today, and not expect anything in return?
Life is full of selfish people, but life is full of miserable hardworking people too. So try to do something today that you have never done before.
- Pay for someone's groceries while standing in line.
- Give a bigger tip than normal when you eat in a restaurant.
- Help someone across the street or even give your umbrella to someone while it is raining.
So lift your butt, and go and do something good! I am sure you won't have to look far.
For once, don't expect anything and just say PAY IT FORWARD.
