Aleksandr Dugin, the most dangerous and gloomy philosopher in the world?

Philosophy is a science that studies the fundamental problems of the human being, questions them and constantly problematizes them again. These are mainly existence, truth, morals, knowledge, mind, communication, language, beauty, love and feelings.

This science seeks to address such issues with rational arguments, looking for the reason behind each attitude of the human being in order to understand and de-automate the different aspects of life. Throughout history there have been a lot of philosophers, from those well known as Pythagoras, Aristotle and Plato, to some not so popular.

Philosophy varies as humanity changes. This is how different branches and issues that this science seeks to explain begin to appear. And for this reason, there are philosophers who focus more on a branch of philosophy and seek to develop it.

Aleksandr Dugin is a Russian politician, scientist and philosopher who has a somewhat particular, sinister and totally fascist vision.

Dugin's fascist philosophy

Alexander Dugin is a professor of sociology and international relations at the University of Moscow, as well as being a political and military adviser and a close figure of Putin, which gave him the nickname "Putin's brain".

The professor and philosopher speaks ten languages and many of his classes are available online. Throughout his career, Dugin has expressed very controversial opinions that stand out for their anti-scientific and anti-technological nature, among other things, proposing to ban chemistry, physics and the Internet.

For the philosopher, the world as we know it is an error and should be overthrown.

The crisis of liberalism according to Dugin

What Alexander Dugin believes is that there have been three political theories that impacted the world: liberalism, communism and fascism. The United States is the leading country in «liberalism», which roughly «offers» individual freedom to people. After the Second World War, liberalism surpassed fascism and later, in the Cold War, communism. However, Dugin argues that liberalism is having a fatal crisis.

For the philosopher, this crisis is expressed as the liberation of the body from reason and the oppression of the brain. As he points out, liberalism began to alienate people from any form of collective identity, first national identity, then religious identity and now gender identity.

For Dugin, the acceptance of the LGBT community is to attack the thinking of the individuals themselves, by allowing people to free themselves from the collective identity that "corresponds" them.

The fourth political theory: anti-progress

Dugin created the "Fourth Political Theory" to accompany the aforementioned political theories. It is a theory that unites anti-liberal ideologies and seeks to counteract the progress of the current world.

The theory is not based on individualism, race or nationality, but is based partly on the theory of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger (one of the most brilliant minds of the twentieth century who unfortunately was a Nazi sympathizer) and seeks to save the human being from the technology that dehumanized societies.

To achieve this, the world should have a multipolar division of power, instead of a powerful country like the United States. According to Dugin, this multipolar world would give people a sense of identity.

The philosopher supports the geopolitical idea of ??Eurasianism and founded the Eurasian Party of Russia. This theory is based on the union of Russia with other countries opponents of the United States in order to create a nation, Eurasia. In this union, Russia would be the leader. It is not surprising to note that Eurasia would basically be a nation that would occupy the former territory of the Soviet Union.

According to Dugin, the Soviet Union failed at the time, but now it is time to correct the historical error and bring back one of the most successful nations in the world.

Nor is it any surprise that Dugin enthusiastically supported the Trump campaign. However, in the United States the philosopher is part of the list of sanctions for defending the murder of many Ukrainians, among other things. Now, with Trump leading the most powerful nation in the world, everything could change very quickly ...
