ggteixeira here and today I'd like to go ahead and take a step away from the regular League of Legends post to hopefully spark up conversation on the topic my friend and I couldn't stop talking about today, Runescape. Not that new Runescape stuff, no, the old-school Runescape (Not like there's nothing wrong about the new Runescape). I know a big portion of you guys know what I'm talking about.
I still recall as a kid in elementary getting home right after school and clocking in endless hours on the old Runescape. Working towards completing all the free to play quests, trying to acquire a full set of rune, getting slain in the wilderness one too many times and losing it all. I even remember just sitting down, lobster fishing and talking to the other local fishers about our day, hot topics and so on. It was honestly great, the community, the game, all of it.
Just go ahead and listen to that. Anyone who played old school Runescape, especially back in the day I guarantee won't be able to help but get emotional. Every single time I listen to this song, no matter the situation, no matter the mood, I always can't help but smile.
I plan on trying to get back into old-school Runescape especially since school is over for the summer. Hopefully it's just as much fun as it was before.
