Life Hacks: Hair Care Tips for Dandruff and Hair fall

Hair care is one of the most important thing we should do. As it says, invest in your hair, as it is the crown you never take off. This is really true to me but nowadays it is very hard for me to do a lot of care to my hair because having a baby honestly took some of the pleasure being a woman. But I do not regret this. In fact I am much happier to be a mother to my daughter.

Let's go back to the topic. A lot of us are experiencing hair problems. Few of those are hair fall and dandruff which I am experiencing now. Hair fall is being normal to those who just gave birth and I understand that but I am scared it's because the number of strands fell off is crazy. Every time I wash my hair, combed it and even when I removed my hair tie. The worst of it was when I went to the shopping mall, my hair fall got so much crazier.

And then I learned about the wonders of lemon to our hair and scalp. I read some articles in a website looking for a home remedies for my problem then I found out the benefits of lemon.

Facts about lemons

Lemons 🍋 contain tons of vitamin C which boosts collagen production. It strengthen the hair follicles and encourage new hair growth. Which for me is helpful to replace all the hair that has been out from my head and control the number of hair fall daily. It has also natural anti-fungal properties that keeps dandruff under control.

Steps in applying lemon into my hair and scalp

First, I cut a piece of lemon into 4 slices. Squeeze a little bit before rubbing it into my scalp.

Secondly, when scalp was fully applied with lemon, I cover it with a plastic for 30 minutes. You can have it longer at least one hour. You can use grocery plastic to cover your head as long as it fits well.

After 30 minutes, I removed the plastic checked if it's warm enough and that means that the citrus soaked into your hair strands.

I then prepared my hair fall conditioner (cream silk brand) mixed with lemon juice. Mixed it well to be used as hair conditioner.

I used this as a conditioner after I washed my hair with water (no shampoo please). This is effective to have a smooth shiny hair when it dries.

Aside from hair fall and dandruff, lemons are wonderful and can certainly improve the appearance of your hair and hair growth.

This is effective to me. Though I still have hair fall but we should not forget verything is not made for magic and the result does not happen over night. You need to be more patient and persevere in doing this at home. At least 3 times in a week or every other day. That is what I do. Seriously, I do not wash my hair everyday because when I do so it won't be healthy to my damage hair.
