Delicious Tomato Soup at Home

Ingredients


  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt
  • 1 kilo of washed ripe tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon ground White Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of each of the following herbs: Oregano, Thyme, Basil
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 clove of garlic minced small
  • 1 cup chopped celery small
  • 1 carrot, chopped into small squares
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups of water

Preparation



Heat the oven to 200 ° C.

Chop the tomatoes in quarters and put them on a baking tray. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sprinkle with sugar, Sea Salt, White Pepper and dehydrated herbs. Bake the tomatoes for 30 minutes or until soft.

In a large pot, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the onion, garlic, celery and carrot and cook until the vegetables are soft. Once the tomatoes are ready, add them to the pot along with the rest of the ingredients and cook for 10 minutes over medium / low heat. Blend the soup until you have a homogeneous mixture; If you want a softer texture soup, you can pass it through a sieve. Heat the soup to serve.
