Delicate Communication (SV2). Digital collage.
Another artwork from the digital artwork series titled Small Visions and this time i used the following 3 keywords as inspiration Communication Journalism and Urban. Having these in mind i tried to create an artwork showing my thoughts about Journalism at our times. Of course the smartphone was the main feature to symbolize the mobility and speed that news spread around the world.
Of course a smartphone was the main feature to symbolize the mobility and speed that news spread around the world. The rolled newspaper supporting the phone was a great idea to show that old values must always back the freedom that modern devices are giving us. Not that i believe that modern newspapers have anything of value, but it is art and i used a poetic language. The butterflies motif is one of my favourites and it serves a nice contrast to the blue but also to further emphasize the spreading of news. Good news of course.
Lastly i added a grey window to a cityspace silhouette to have a focal point for the swarm of butterflies and a little more colour and depth at the background.

Very interesting that you represent the progression of news delivery in your art. Would this work be considered conceptual art? It's certainly a thought-provoking piece.
Thank you so much, it is a part of a greater series in which i tried to visualise a group of organisations. Their idea and purpose. This one is about a Journalist org in Denmark:)

Very creative interpretation of the idea. Communication is very important nowadays, I remember the time of newspapers and still enjoying to read them when I am on holiday, the whole idea of turning over the pages and the smell of the papers and ink. That is something that never will be old for me. I do not like to read news on phone. If then computer is the best. Great idea of the vity in background and beautiful butterflies :)
Thank you so much Stef:) I read a bit in the computer a bit at the phone because i spend a lot of time outside, i think i like it much better from the newspaper. What i cannot read in the computer of phone is a book,lol.
