Brighton have got off to a storming start to the season and sit proudly up in 4th place on 15 points from their first 8 games just 2 points behind City who are one place higher in 3rd.

It will be interesting to see if Brighton can continue this amazing run of form and will doubtless go into tonight's game as underdogs despite it being at home.

The Seagulls have a couple of injury issues with Steven Alzate and the influential Danny Welbeck both long-term absentees but Graham Potter said in his presser that Adam Webster has an 'outisde chance' of being fit.
This is the problem with a small squad and there of course are no such issues at City with only Ferran Torres being a cause for concern for Pep Guardiola.

This will be Brighton's first game against one of the big boys and it will be interesting to see how they cope and will surely be a truer test of the European football potential.

City played scarily well midweek and were giving nothing away at the back. This could be the week that Brighton come back to earth with a bump!
