How Do We Live This Life ?
My steemian everything. Know by us this life is the way or the provision for the afterlife.
Aun bin Abdillah rahimahullah said :
. إن من كان قبلكم كانوا يجعلون للدنيا ما فضل عن آخرتهم, وإنكم اليوم تجعلون لآخرتكم ما فضل عن دنياكم. .
Indeed the people before you made the time for what world is left after their afterlife, while you make the time for your afterlife what is left of your world affairs. "[Hilyatul Auliya ', 4/242]
In living this life, man has two kinds: conscious and unconscious;
(1) Realize that life in the world is only temporary, so that he begins to prepare provisions to meet the true life of the Hereafter;
(2) Unconscious or neglectful of the existence of ultimate life in the hereafter, so that all his mind and energy are spent in the pursuit of worldly pleasures.
The pleasure of a healthy life will be felt when sick. The pleasure of satiety will be felt when hungry.
The pleasure of restful sleep will be felt when difficult to sleep.
The pleasure of clean life will be felt when dirty.
The enjoyment of a wealthy life will be felt when deficiency.
That is, sometimes a new pleasure feels after nothing.
Therefore, our teacher once taught us a wonderful prayer :
اللهم عرفنا على نعمك بدوامها ولا تعرفنا عليها بزوالها.
O Allah, awake us to Your blessings by keeping them. Do not awake us by way of eliminating it. "The blessings of life should be used best to provide the best service, worship, study, and da'wah earnestly are among the forms of gratitude for the blessings of life. not worship, learn and preach well when God removes all the blessings of this life...
